A total of 24 current and former Washington rowers will convene this weekend in Belgrade, Serbia, for the 2023 World Rowing Championships, which will run Sept. 3-10 on Sava Lake.

Along with World Championship medals, qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games will also be on the line for all of the competitors' nations. Top finishers in the men's and women's single sculls, pairs, double sculls, fours, quad sculls and eights will earn qualification for the 2024 Paris regatta.

Current and former Huskies will represent nine different nations, with the largest group – nine – competing for the United States (there are three Huskies each in the U.S. men's and women's eights). They'll race in a total of 10 different race categories.
