UW women’s crew had a great showing at the Head of the American regatta, taking first and third in the women’s collegiate eights and finishing eight pairs in the top 13 of the women’s collegiate pairs.
Washington men’s rowing concluded its first regatta of the 2015-16 season, as the varsity eight took fourth in the men’s championship eights and the varsity four took seventh in the men’s championship fours on the second and final day of the Head of the Charles.
For the first time in program history, Washington men’s rowing won the Prince Albert Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta on Sunday, July 5, on the River Thames, winning the Huskies’ eighth event title in 13 trips to the famed regatta.
