Washington’s Rowing men’s crew’s two primary goals at the Head of the Lake Regatta were to build team depth and challenge its top oarsmen. For this regatta, the Huskies created two equal top eights the “Purple” and “White” boats.
The Washington women’s and men’s crews will compete at the Head of the Lake this Sunday, Nov. 6, on the Huskies’ home waters. The three-mile course starts in Lake Union, crosses Portage Bay, runs through the Montlake Cut and finishes in Lake Washington. Racing will begin at 8 a.m. PT.
