Washington won the NCAA women’s rowing title Sunday, making the Pac-12 Conference the first league to reach 500 national championships. The top-ranked Huskies beat Stanford and California by a comfortable margin in the final race Sunday at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, New Jersey, posting a time of 6:36.939 in the varsity eight grand final.
The University of Washington women’s rowing team didn’t just win another NCAA national championship, the Huskies made history in storming to their fourth team title. Washington swept all three grand events Sunday for the first time in the 21-year history of the regatta.

For the first time since 1997 WASHINGTON claimed the Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Rowing Championship. On the men’s side, Washington collected 72 team points for the title, winning three of the four scoring races.
